No tie-breaks for the Australian Junior Blitz Championships U/8 – 12. Unnofficial placings below.

Parents were today told by the Chief Arbiter that there would be no tie-breaks applied to the Australian Junior Blitz Championships results. My guess is that because there were 9 withdrawals and a lot of unrated players, tie-breaks would have been meaningless.

The Chief Arbiter also told parents that the Australian Junior Problem Solving Championships scores will be marked when all other events have finished. My guess is that prizegiving will be via Zoom.

At least some clarity has finally descended upon the situation and we can now get down to watching the fantastic chess being played over the DGTs.
