Vic. CLUB Championship 2026 – Note “Club”, not Team.
Check out the strong players in this event. MCC looks unbeatable – but we shall see.
If you pay the top players, they will play.
The rest of Australian Chess needs to study what they are doing in Victoria – and play a bit of catch-up.
Pity this event is only once per year.
I predict within 5 years there will be an Australian State whose Club Teams Championship will have 2 or more playing dates.
It will take that long for them to wake up – but worth the wait!
