Vale Norm Greenwood – ACF Treasurer for many years.

Yes, this is very sad news.

Norm was apart from being the Treasurer at Norths (Chatswood) and Harbord (Manly) also the NSWCA Treasurer and ACF Treasurer over many years.
His dedicated service to both organisations was recognised with Life memberships of the NSWCA and ACF and the 2004 Koshnitsky Medal for his outstanding contributions to Australian chess administration.

Norm was also a prolific player, often in the busiest players list.
The ACF rating system shows a total of 3976 classical games and 1081 quick games.

My condolences to his family and many friends. – Bill Gletsos from ChessChat
