Top players who are no longer at their peak play in these events all over the world.

GM Predrag Nikolic (at one time the highest FIDE rated player to play in Australia) now plays for a Bundesliga Team.
With Teams chess you get businesses wanting to form partnerships. You attract world class admin. people.
You attract spectators – if the time control is crowd friendly.
Kids are able to tell relatives,”I’m in the Redcliffe CC U/18 team.”
Germany has an U/12 League!!!
Come on Australia – we can do better.
Especially the Young Guns coming up in Australian Junior Chess.
Why do 99.9% of Australian Chess Juniors drop out at 18? Would Netball put up with that statistic?
Because that is when Inter-School Teams stops for them. What’s next?
