2026 Term 3 LINGLONG CUP Junior Chess Championships

Term 3 Registration from 8:50 am on Sunday 16 August 2026
MacGregor State High School, Blackwattle St, Macgregor QLD 4109, close to Garden City
A 7-Rounds Swiss 15 minutes ea plus 5 seconds per move (Fischer)
3 Divisions – capped at 210 entries!

🕰️ 10:00 am for Division B & C
$500 for 1st place
$250 for 2nd place
$125->$150 for 3rd place
$125->$150 for Best Girl
12 Crystal Trophies+11 Crystal Medals + many ribbons
FIDE Rapid/ACF Quick/QJ rated for Division A, which requires Queensland players to be🔗 a current member of CAQ (Chess Association of Queensland).

Before and on 13 August: $45 per player, Late: $55
Free for players with QJ rating over 2,000

⚠️Attention: In division A, players without FIDE IDs must be Australian citizens or permanent residents to enter or they will be required to request a FIDE ID be issued from their country of citizenship prior to acceptance of registration.
