Crosstable of the 2026 Blitz Championship played on Wed night Apr 22
Please find attached the crosstable for the 2026 Redcliffe Blitz Championship, played on Wednesday night, April 22.
Tournament Summary:
Dan Woodrow is the 2026 RCC Blitz Champion! Congratulations, Dan! The former regular club member rolled up to the club seeking a trophy and he will not go away empty-handed, winning the tournament with a fine score of 6/7. It was a slow start for Dan, losing his first game, before recovering brilliantly to win 6 straight games to finish half a point ahead of Jai Turner (5.5/7) who was hamstrung by his shock early loss to Mark C Stokes. David Beaumont was off to a flying start, winning his first 4 games to take the outright lead, before falling back to the pack with a couple of losses as the tournament opened up. He finished in a tie for 3rd place on a respectible 5/7 with yours truly, Rohan Pyne. This was another enjoyable and exciting event at the club, with 20+ entries and many outcomes possible going into the final 2 rounds. Well done, all!
