a)
Nominations now invited for President, Treasurer, Secretary, Junior Representative, General Committee Positions for the Redcliffe Chess Club Inc Committee for 2027. New Committee for 2027 to be elected at the Redcliffe Chess Club AGM on Wednesday night December 23, 2026.
b)
Donation amount as a token of appreciation to Grace Lutheran College Rothwell for use of their F Block for our Wednesday night Club Meetings and for all the Week Enders they allow us to run including the Wendy Terry Memorial, Christmas Special, Queensland Seniors, our Peninsula Open, our Leo Wilkinson Memorial plus Filip Simic’s Round Robin.

CAQ AGM : The CAQ Inc AGM will be held on Sunday December 20 2026 at 10am at Mount Gravatt Bowls Club. Council Positions open for nomination include President, Vice-President, Treasurer, Secretary, Membership Secretary, Ratings Officer, Tournament Officer, Regional Liaison Officer, Junior Chess Co-Ordinator, Development Officer, Publicity Officer and Women’s Officer.

CAQ Teams of 6 Day: The CAQ invites Teams of 6 nominations for its fun quick chess teams chess day on Saturday November 28 at Pimpama.
e)
Club Closing Date for 2026: Wed Dec 23 after AGM and Trophy Presentations.
f)
Club Opening Date for 2027: Doors will open at 7pm on Wed night February 3. The 2027 accelerated Summer Swiss will start at 8pm.
g)
Any other General Business.
