Queensland Teams 2026 – How about twice per year?

October 30, 2026 by Kerry Corker

Perhaps once in the middle of the year and once at the end. One on Gold Coast – one in Brisbane.
Then we could have a League – just like the grown-ups overseas.

Maybe 2 Divisions
(1) For proper Clubs, meeting once per week
(2) For Teams formed on the day with anyone playing.

This way we could confirm that Redcliffe Chess Club Inc. is by far the strongest club in Qld.
Check out the Club Championships for this year for confirmation.
