Asian Seniors Championships 2026 – Osh, Kyrgyz Republic.
Dear Presidents, Delegates and Representatives of the National Chess Federations of Asia,
In response to requests received from National Chess Federations and interested players, the registration deadline for the Asian Seniors Chess Championships 2026 has been extended to 15 September 2026.
The Championships will take place from 15 to 25 October 2026 in Osh, Kyrgyz Republic, featuring Standard, Rapid and Blitz competitions in the 50+ and 65+ categories.
This email serves as official notice that the registration deadline specified in the Regulations has been extended to 15 September 2026. All other provisions of the Regulations remain unchanged.
Important visa information
Participants who require a visa to enter the Kyrgyz Republic are strongly advised to register and submit the required passport information as soon as possible, without waiting until 15 September. The extension of the registration deadline does not extend the time available for visa processing, and the timely completion of visa formalities cannot be guaranteed for late requests.
Federations intending to participate are also kindly requested to provide an approximate number of players as early as possible. This will assist the Organizing Committee in securing the necessary hotel accommodation. Final participant details may be submitted by the extended deadline.
