Crosstable after R3 of Redcliffe Summer Swiss 2025
We have a sole leader after just 3 rounds of the 2025 Summer Swiss and he is on 3 out of 3 – Jai Turner! But Michael D’Arcy, on 2.5/3, will get to play Jai this week in R4 on Wednesday night February 12, and this Board 1 encounter is sure to be worth the price of the admission.
No less than 11 other players are on 2 out of 3 so the eventual winner is still far from certain. See the attached crosstable for the progress scores of all 41 entrants.

We will also be asking everyone to deposit the $20 CAQ Inc Membership Fee for 2025 and the $5 Redcliffe Chess Club Membership Fee into our Redcliffe Chess Club Inc Account above by the end of February! However, if you are playing in the Qld Reserves/Tin Cup at the Gold Coast on Saturday February 22 and Sunday February 23, you need to pay by February 21 as you must be a CAQ Inc Member to play in the Qld Reserves/Tin Cup!
Besides the upcoming Qld Reserves/Tin Cup for players under 1700 ACF at the Nerang Bicentennial Community Centre, 833 Nerang Southport Rd, Nerang on Saturday February 22 and Sunday February 23, we also have 2025 Gold Cup FIDE Open for all players at Churchie on Friday night March 14, Saturday March 15 and Sunday March 16 to play in!
