Redcliffe Chess Club Championship Crosstable after 5 ROUNDS 3 new leaders – Austin, Craig and Jai!
We have 3 new co-leaders after 5 rounds of the Redcliffe Chess Club inc Championship for 2024 – Austin Hamilton, Craig Stewart and Jai Turner, all on 4/5! Allan Fossey is on 3.5 and 6 players are on 3. So with 2 rounds to go, lots of players are in contention for 1st, 2nd and 3rs place!
Don’t forget to enter the Christmas Special here at Rothwell on Sat Dec 14 and Sun Dec 15 – the entry form is on the CAQ Inc Website under Coming Events: www.caq.org.au

PS A big thank you to all the Redcliffe Players who played in the Teams of 6 Day on Saturday at Pimpama – Mark C Stokes, Tony Weller, Austin Hamilton, Rohan Pyne, Nikola Maljkovic, Aaron Hamilton and Tom Weber! A special congratulation to Tony Weller for scoring 6/7 and winning the Board 6 prize and to Nikola Maljkovic, who scored 6/7 on Board 3, but just missed the board prize on countback.
PPS: And CONGRATULATIONS to TOM MAGUIRE, a former Club member, who won the CAQ INC Blitz Chess Championship on Sunday!
The CAQ AGM is on this Sunday December 8 at 10am at Mount Gravatt Bowls Club – All CAQ Inc Members are invited to attend.
The Redcliffe Chess Club Inc AGM is on at 7pm on Wed Dec 18, followed by our Trophy Presentation and Fun Doubles Chess Comp, with Free Pizza!
