We have just 2 players now on a perfect score of 3 out of 3 in our current 7 round Swiss, the 2024 Mike Dyer Memorial: Austin Hamilton and Jai Turner! But with 4 rounds still to play, lots of players on 2.5/3 like Marcos Diaz and Allan Fossey and on 2/3 like Rohan Pyne, Tony Weller, Mark C Stokes, Nikola Maljkovic, Sam Meder and Jaivanash Khullar are still well in contention for 1st place. Our 102 player 2024 Leo Wilkinson Memorial played on the weekend was a huge success and was won outright by Jaiden Ooi on 5.5/6, and Jaiden took home the $1000 1st prize all by himself! It was great to see 20 Redcliffe Chess Club Members take place in this Week Ender and 11 of them scored at least 3 out of 6! Well done to Jai Turner who was undefeated on 4.5/6, Max Phillips, Austin Hamilton and Rohan Pyne who all scored 4/6, Martin Post with 3.5/6 and Dan Woodrow, Don Hamilton, Tony Weller, James ChengYi Xia, Nikola Maljkovic and Chris Basiaco all on 3/6.
