Sravan is slowly overtaking some players who got their ratings when Paul Morphy was still at school!
However, he is now number 8 in Queensland – and continues to improve.
To get higher, he is going to have to travel overseas – because our Top Players have stopped playing.
Hard to pick up rating points from people who do not play.
Why do they not play?
Ask Qld. tournament organizers how much appearance fees are being offered to GMs and IMs.
You will be surprised. Try getting a plumber without a call-out fee.
