Queensland Inter-school Open State Finals – Saturday 7th & Sunday 8th October
Venue – St Joseph’s, Gregory Terrace
This is for primary & high school teams from all over Qld who have qualified to play by winning their zones in term 3.
A great event to drop in and see if you are in the area.
Inter-school Chess Competitions in Term 4 – students only play other students born in the same year!
Gold Coast Individual Age Chess Championships – Wednesday 25th October
Venue – Emmanuel College
Brisbane Individual Age Chess Championships – Tuesday 31st October
Venue – Calamvale Community College
NSW – Northern Rivers Individual Age Chess Championships – Thursday 2nd November
Venue – St Joseph’s Primary School, Alstonville
Weekend Events
Term 4 – Brisbane Girls Chess Competition – Sunday 12th November – brochure attached

Cost – $40.00 per player
Gold Coast One Day Challenge – Sunday 3rd December
Venue – William Duncan State School
Cost – $40.00 per player
