CAQ Inc. Membership News

    • Good afternoon,

Please find attached the 2023/2024 CAQ Club Affiliation form. Please complete and return all pages before 31 October 2023 and let me know when payment has been made.
The go-live date for our new membership system is approaching and a function we are looking at enabling is the ‘Club Portal’. This would allow your club members to pay one fee covering their club registration and CAQ membership fee, with the club fee being paid directly to the club’s nominated bank account. The person nominated on the affiliation form as the membership contact will need to log into the portal to provide bank account details (instructions will be provided at the upcoming training session – see below).  The CAQ will cover any fees incurred by using the club portal for the next 12 months.
Importantly, once the system is live, cash memberships/hardcopy membership forms will not be accepted. All memberships will go through the revSPORT platform and once paid, the person will automatically be shown in the system as a current member. A couple of days prior to the go live date the existing site will be taken down so members do not inadvertently register on the old system.

To facilitate the creation of club portals, we have organised a live training session for you to attend. We have scheduled this for 6:00 pm on Thursday 2 November. We encourage committee members and the person you nominate as your membership contact to attend.
RevSport have provided a pre-recorded webinar (here) which provides a good summary of revSPORT but it does not address the context in which affiliated clubs will utilise the system and isn’t tailored to your needs, it will, however, give you a general overview of the system.

      Regards

      Bryan Moss
      Treasurer and interim Membership Secretary
