Going on the reliability of FIDE ratings I have made the following predictions at 7:11pm Thursday Qld. time –
Using FIDE ratings, and supposedly unreliable Junior FIDE ratings, my prediction over 8 boards was out by half a point.
Australia 1 v England 2-2 (Prediction 2-2)
Australia 2 v Switzerland 1-3 (Prediction 1.5-2.5)
About time Australian adult chess grew up a bit and started using the World Rating System, FIDE.
Arbiters, you are being paid to do your job properly.
A good win by another rising star of Australian Chess.
