James, from The Redcliffe Chess Club Inc., drew his last round to secure the hard fought title.

Marcus Ni from NSW could only draw his last round securing outright 2nd.

Angus Frost from Qld. finished like a freight train with 5 wins in a row to finish outright 3rd.
