Congratulations to the White Caviar, International Master Brodie McClymont, for winning yet another Queensland Weekender! 6/6 is hard to beat. Womens International Master Alexandra Jule also had a top tournament to take out 2nd place all by herself with the great score of 5/6 and Senior Prizewinner Tony Weller was also happy with his lucky upset win over Dusan! Martin Carter, Phil Mulholland and Elizabeth and John Harris did another wonderful job all weekend long to ensure all went well and that it certainly did. Dusan’s MasterClass lecture on Friday night was most interesting and the question and answer session was very educational for one and all. The simul on Friday night was a lot of fun for everyone too. Thank you to all from Bundaberg Chess Club for putting on such a top event, their second Weekender of 2022!
