Road Trip! 2023 LAN Three-way Teams’ Comp. every 2 months
1.Suncoast, Buderim, CWA Hall – 71klms – 1 hour by car. (We could all meet at Buderim)
2.Tewantin RSL, Noosa Shire, – 114 klms 1.5 hours by car.
During any school holidays we could get all three of these clubs to play in a Teams Comp. with Senior and Junior Teams.
We could even get a team playing via Lichess.
Perhaps a one-off trip this year, and next year a LAN of –
- Redcliffe CC 2. Suncoast CC and 3. Tewantin CC
This would give local players a year-round competition with perhaps a match every 2 months.
This would build local community chess spirit with teams announced one week before matches.
Train travel would take too long. Mini-Bus hire might be an option subject to cost. Fully insured car travel might be easiest.
