ACGS wins the 2022 GPS Premiership

After a hard fought battle Churchie has won the GPS Premiership with a round to spare beating Grammar, 2.5 to 1.5 in a closely fought encounter. Well done to their players, staff and community in this achievement. This marks Churchie’s 14th GPS chess premiership, the most out of any school to date. This is also their first back to back to back premierships in 20 years and are now 26.5/28 individual games for the season. They look to improve this and secure an undefeated season when taking on Brisbane State High next week.
