Temur Kuybokarov had a brilliant first hakf of the Olympiad but faded a little bit in the second but his performance was still very good.
Julia Rynova had a good performance on board 1 almost going undefeat. Her last round loss was against Roebers who is 16 years old and performed over 2500 in the Olympiad.
Giang Nguyen was very good on board 5 clearly out performing her rating. She had the 6th best performance on board 5.
