Congratulations to FM Leonard McLaren for winning the NZ Seniors (Over 50) Title with 5/6 and FM Bob Smith for winning the NZ Veterans (Over 65) Title with 4.5/6.   

And a shoutout to longtime friends Nigel Metge and CM Paul Spiller for their marvellous no-holds-barred Round 4 game which was eventually won by Nigel who reprised his scary attacking chess from the 1970s! My engine almost had conniptions
