U12 – 18 : $80 per player (players must be members of chess association of QLD to participate)
U10 : $40 per player
U8 : $40 per player

Schedule

U12 – 18 :

Saturday – Registration at 9.00am – 9.30am, Rounds 1-4 from 9.45am. Finish @ 4:00pm

Sunday – Rounds 5-7 from 10.00am. Finish @ 3:30pm

U10: (Born 2012 or later)
Saturday Registration 9.00am—9:30 Round 1 9:45 Finish @ 4:30pm

U8 : (Born 2014 or later)

Sunday – Registration 9.30am. Round 1 @ 10:00am & Finish @ 3.30pm

Time Control

U12 – 18 : 30 minutes per player +

30 seconds per move
U10: 15 minutes + 5 seconds per move

U8 : 15  minutes per player +5 seconds per move

Prizes

Overall 1st – $300, 2nd $200, $100

Trophies for each age group (under 12, under 14, under 16 and under 18) 1st – 3rd + best girl overall.
