REDCLIFFE CHESS CLUB RE-OPENS THIS WEDNESDAY
We hope you can make it to Redcliffe Chess Club this Wednesday night January 19 for the opening night of chess for 2022! Make sure you wear a mask, unless you are under 12 years of age and decide not to wear a mask.
The Club doors will open at 7pm this year, half an hour earlier than last year.
Tournament Games will also start earlier in 2022, at 7:35pm. If you are running late and wish to be included in the pairings, text Mark Stokes by 7:15pm on the Wednesday night. If you need a bye, text Mark Stokes by 7:15pm as well.

We start with Round 1 of the 6 round Summer Swiss on Wednesday night.
Adults 18 years of age and older need to pay the $20 entry fee plus the $5 Redcliffe Chess Club Membership Fee for 2022 as soon as possible, a total of $25.
Juniors, 17 years of age and younger, need to pay the $6 entry fee for the tournament plus the $5 Redcliffe Chess Club Membership Fee for 2022 as soon as possible, a total of $11.
Players are asked to pay these fees by direct deposit into the Redcliffe Chess Club’s Westpac Account:

PS For new players, we meet in the F Block of Grace Lutheran College, Buchanan Street, Rothwell. Best parking is in the school carpark in the middle of Buchanan Street, near the school swimming pool.
PPS CAQ MEMBERSHIP FEES for 2022 are also due as soon as possible. Adults may wish to pay this fee to Redcliffe Chess Club by paying $45 instead of $25 and we will forward the $20 CAQ Fee on to them for you. Juniors may wish to pay this fee to Redcliffe Chess Club by paying $31 instead of $11 and we will forward the $20 CAQ Fee on to them for you.
