RCC v GCCC Thursday night 7pm April 7th – R U Playing?
So far I have two confirmed players for this event.
Board 1. Mark C Stokes 1616 ( this is not DOB, it is FIDE rating!)
Board 2. Allan Fossey 1603 (ditto)
Reserve: Kerry Corker
We need to know if you want to play in this event. It is a Fixed Roster Lichess event.
Similar format to the Online Olympiad with a faster time control.
I want both sides to publish their Teams by about mid-March so we can generate more interest.
15 minutes per side with 10 sec. increment.
10 players.
Six Adults
4 Juniors 1x U/18, 1x U/16, 1x U/14, 1x U/12
Two of the 10 players have to be female.
This is not a mickey mouse event where someone phones around a couple or hours before trying to scare up a team.
If this goes well, we will be playing teams from all over Australia and others in our time zone.
Kids, get this on your resume – playing for the all conquering RCC at the age of 10 or whatever.
