—————————
Are we catering for 80 – 100 mainly Queenslanders?
Or is it a fully loaded reunion with 2-300 entries from around the country?
We are going to press early so that you can book the time off work. More details to follow.
Please email you expression of interest to GCCC Inc. at –
and we will keep you in the loop with all event information as it becomes available.
—————–
Gold Coast Chess Club Inc. is inviting former Australian Juniors who have battled over the chess board against former Qld Juniors to, “Hit the Coast for the weekend” and enjoy the company and the chess.
Did you play them in the Australian Juniors, Australian High School or Primary School Teams Champs?
Were you part of your team’s support team?
What about catching up with your mates who went on to create that legal/accounting firm?
50% of Australian marriages end in divorce. Is your school yard sweetheart now single?
Come up and make your pitch, the second time around.
Got a partner and or kids now?
They are not going to be stuck in a hotel room all weekend while you are off playing chess.
You play chess one day – then you play with the family/friends on some of the best beaches in the world for the rest of your stay.
——————————————————
We already have a very successful event if only Queensland Teams compete.
With the rest of Australia’s former Junior competitors joining in,
this is going to be a huge event that will grow bigger and better each year.
And, very importantly, this event will be a bridge between the World online chess juggernaut,
and Australian slow OTB chess.
