RCC Championships Rd. 4 results

After 4 rounds of the 2021 Redcliffe Chess Club Championship we have one player, top seed Tom Maguire, in first place with 4 out of 4. Stuart Holt is just half a point behind on 3.5/4 and will play Tom in R5.

The stormy weather had lots of players request byes – George Warta, Don Hamilton, Tyson Walker, Jai Turner, Tony Weller, Victor Davidovici, Roman Mouzovatkine, Luke Goodwin, Matthew Pollard, Luke Twomey, PJ Bargo, Ethan Chen, Max Kershaw, Chris Basiaco, Colin Dougherty and Ben Goodwin.

The CAQ AGM is on this Sunday December 12 at 5pm at William Duncan State School in Highland Park. Tony Weller will represent Redcliffe Chess Club at the CAQ AGM whilst Mark Stokes will be the proxy delegate for Bundaberg Chess Club and Townsville Chess Club. All CAQ Members are welcome to attend this AGM.

The Churchie Chess Festival for Under 20 players is on next week and the XMAS Weekender is on Saturday December 18 and Sunday December 19 in the Buranda State School Hall at 24 Cowley Street Woolloongabba. See the CAQ Website under Coming Events for full details of these events: www.caq.org.au
