We welcomed 3 new members to Redcliffe Chess Club on Wednesday night, father and son Bob Goodwin and Luke Goodwin and Zac Gray.
Do not forget the Nell Van De Graaff Classic is on this weekend Saturday September 18 and Sunday September 19 and it features an Open Event and a Junior only event for players under QJ 1200.
Do not forget to enter Redcliffe Chess Club’s Leo Wilkinson Memorial at Grace Lutheran College Rothwell on Saturday September 25 and Sunday September 26 – as Redcliffe Chess Club Members you can enter for just $30! Over 60 entries have already been received for the Leo Wilkinson Memorial so enter now to secure your place in this tournament.
The Queensland Chess Championship for players rated above 1600 ACF is also on at Grace Lutheran College Rothwell from Thursday night September 30 to Monday October 4 AND The Queensland U1600 ACF Chess Championship is also on at Grace Lutheran College Rothwell from Friday night October 1 to Monday October 4.
