Hi All
The notice of Joe Tarnawski’s funeral on Tuesday June 8 at 12 noon at The Gap is attached. Everyone from the Chess Community is invited to attend if they wish.
In a lovely gesture, the family is asking that in lieu of flowers, a donation be made instead to the Queensland Womens and Girls Chess Championship.
Joe is well remembered by once beating GM Kotov in a simul and for his great blitz chess by many of my generation and older!
