2021 Redcliffe Summer Swiss round 1 results.
We had 19 players turn up for round 1 of the 2021 Summer Swiss and we welcomed two new members to RCC –
Ben Jennings and Austin Hamilton.
We had another 9 players request byes for round 1.
Two upset results took place – on board 4 Allan Fossey (1691) was held to a draw by Kinston Wang (1100) and on board 5 young Oliver Au (727) defeated Martin Post (1677).

Byes were requested for R1 by Chris Basaico, Colin Dougherty, Braeden Levy, Simon Levy, Nikola Maljkovic, Rex Scarf, Filip Simic, Kosta Simic and Mark C Stokes.
All the trophies organized and partially sponsored by Kerry Corker for the 2020 Club Championship were presented to the winners before R1 and Club Champion Tom Maguire and Junior Champion Jeeva Praveen both received a hearty congratulations from all present.
