The RCC “Absolute Legends” v the RCC “Anklebiters” 2021!

The suggestions for next year’s chess calendar have already begun flooding in. From Max Kershaw comes the idea of an Old versus the Young match in 2021. Max assures me that our current “Legends” will be far too strong for the youngsters. I’m not sure whether Max himself will be volunteering to be on the “Legends” team. When these things go wrong it is always important to have plausable deniabilty. Something like, “I was on the grassy knoll at the time.”
I am predicting that the “Wisdom of the ancients” will prevail this time, by half a point.
