Redcliffe Junior Chess Club for term 4 is a possibility

We are looking at the feasibility of running a Junior feeder club for the Redcliffe Chess Club. It’s main purpose will be to prepare juniors and or beginner seniors for the main club which starts at 8.00pm on Wednesday nights. At the moment, for raw beginners, it is a huge leap to go from not being sure of the castling rules to playing a two hour game against our strong players. I will be organizing the group. Previously, last millennium, I was involved in the running of junior clubs at Morayfield High, Belmont Primary, Eagle Junction Primary, Nundah Primary and Pancake Manor CBD. We are thinking of seeking permission to run the junior club before the senior club at Grace Lutheran Rothwell.
