Our seven round 2018 Redcliffe Chess Club Championship will conclude on Wednesday night December 12.

Tom Maguire, the top seed, holds the outright lead, but he has been involved in some close battles, especially with Aidan Brady and Allan Fossey. In fact, the Maguire – Fossey game ended in a draw! We also look forward to our AGM, Free Pizza Night and match against Bullwinkle Chess Club on our last meeting night for 2018, Wednesday December 19. Redcliffe Chess Club will then re-open once again for 2019 on Wednesday night January 16 at 7:30pm with a six round tournament, The Summer Swiss.
